Check out our files section, if you are seeking a better chat-program than Yahoo, both Y!Chat, and Cheeta Chat are there, in full-form, exe files, and ready to be downloaded. :) For instructions on the how-to use Cheeta chat, just see the front page of the club. For help on Y!Chat, contact me! I'm Gypsycaine@yahoo.com Basically, you do need the GRP# (preferrably on your clipboard) to use this chat, and need to insert it before you totally log in in the room name box, deleting the Y!Chat Beginners room, whatever they called it! Once you get in there, just add the room to your favorites--that'll save it for you to enter that way next time. Playing around with Y!Chat is the only way to get familiar with it. IT DOES have a default of ignoring the person who types more than 5 lines (usually me, due to the flaw in Cheeta's Maximum line-age!) too fast automatically. It's easy to goto preferences, ignore button, and fix that :) so it doesn't happen. You can save chats in it, but as I haven't been near it since I discovered Cheeta, I'm still leery at using it! :) They have fixed a few of the quirks, though, it appears. It's not too bad a program. IIRC, you can access Yahoo-Voice chat with it, but that was in 98, and things might have changed. Have fun chatting with us! A lot of our old chats are logged in the files and postings if you want a feel for the zaniness of the group! Welcome! Dee, Rita, and Simon, moderators of the Chatscripts Group (but mostly Dee, who typed this out without telling the other two!)
