You were missed.

We had a great time, and went to Pippin's after, where we a listened to the first
four chapters on the tape, then Rita and Pippin read about 300 pages (and I
slept, so I could drive home).

I wore my Ren Faire cape and leather jerkin and a black lace shirt, and my
everyday jeans, cowboy boots, and black leather cowboy hat (there are a couple
group pics with me in pretty much the same get up in the files section, though
now I have a foot long white beard), and from the moment we got inside the store
till we left, various people kept calling me Hagrid.  I finally gave up and when
they announced the costume competition I entered, as Hagrid, and was one of the
ten winners.  I feel a little sorry for whoever I aced out who actually put some
effort into an actual costume.
