I understand about the deadness of the valley - I live between Fresno
and Bakersfield... and I usually travel to LA for meetups.  If you
ever want to have a "valley" get-together, we can meet up in Modesto
or Merced or something... although I'm a little short on both extra
time and extra money at the moment. :)
