Hi, Rick,

Yes! Definitely . . . I was going to post something similar myself later this month (once I got caught up after the holidays) . . . I went to one of the southern California meetups in December and it was WONDERFUL! I would really love to get something like that going up here. 

I'm in San Ramon, and I know of someone in Vallejo, a few people in Sacramento, and someone in Santa Cruz to invite. If we can first get an idea of just who in the area would like to come (and where they are located), we could go from there as to choosing a location? Something centrally located, and maybe out of the City so that people coming from farther don't have to battle that traffic. I'll post something like this on my LJ as well (there is an HP-California group there, as well), and we'll see who else is interested.
