What's' "Live Journal"?  

 

I haven't yet heard about any particular parties.  I did call the B&N I'll be going to, to try to talk them into staying open much later (along with the attached Starbuck's) so as to allow people to purchase the book and then stay to read a while, instead of having to leave right away.  That idea didn't go over too well.  :(

So I ask again, anyone else out there in the San Fernando Valley?

Heidi has something on Live Journal for organizing big events, like a
line party for the previous movie at the Spectrum in Irvine. I haven't
the faintest idea how one searches Live Journal for a topic.

Probably people should be reporting on which bookstores are planning
the best book release parties, altho' the most enthusiastic gatherers
will be picking up their UK editions at Sectus.
