I'm not sure about an ETA for this, but it's probably an idea to set
deadlines, so we don't drift off and forget about it. I have a busy
period at work from about mid-Sept to mid-Oct, for example, which
will
slow me down rather than prevent me from doing anything. Then I may
be
in New York at the end of October for a bit, which will shut me up.
My understanding is that we all gather information on the content of
the posts, and note the numbers under appropriate titles. Then we
review the topics and decide on a schedule and format for the FAQs
themselves. Then we write the FAQs. What Paul has put in the database
seems like the right idea. What does it do with a long list of #'s?
Pity - we could use the 'FAQ' and 'blank' templates here for storing
the FAQs if we could make a link between Yahoo and egroups
(otherwise,
all the members would have to join here), but we can't, I guess.
That
makes me think - we really need to know what's going to happen when
the two merge their efforts.
We ought to think about maintaining the FAQs once they are done -
adding or editing in any new information periodically.
Those are my initial thoughts.
Neil
