My Post Summary

Hi:

I just posted a file to the Files section with my messages
(6300-7000). I should know this, but . . . . do I now need to go
into
Paul's FORT database file & rekey my message #s in there too? Or,
are
we each just going to go into the various Files that people post &
collate the topics relating to the FAQs that we're doing? Does this
make sense?

I'm probably somewhat incoherent. We've had a nightmare day -- one
of
our dogs had to be rushed into emergency back surgery. He's come out
of the surgery now. Everything points to a full & healthy recovery,
although the full prognosis won't be known until in the morning.
Anyway, I chose the task of going through all those messages to
occupy
my afternoon while he was in surgery -- the FAQs will require mental
concentration, but I found that assigning each post into a topic
grouping didn't require full mental stamina. I do think we're going
to end up needing a few more FAQs than we first thought. Do we have
one on the Malfoys? The wizarding education system (apart from
Hogwarts (tuition, student population & location) probably deserves a
FAQ.

Also, I was pretty darn unsure where to classify the whole "why was
Voldy after Harry in the first place" topic (as well as "Is Harry the
last heir of Gryffindor" & "What really happened on Halloween
1981?").
I ended up putting those posts into several categories, none of which
may be the "right" one. We may need to do a FAQ just on this
particular topic. I think I threw most of those into "Harry Potter,"
"Voldemort," "Inconsistencies & Mysteries: Sorcerer's Stone."

Most of them were rather straightforward though.

Thanks to whoever set it up to send us all a reminder about the 8/25
deadline that we set. That's pretty handy.

Like Heidi, I'm going to start trying to create the basics with one
or
more of my FAQs. Although they can't be completed until all the
posts
have been summarized -- maybe getting a general idea of where some of
them are going will be useful.

Have a great weekend all --

Penny
