Well, when you put it like that ... <g> Perhaps we should not have a
movie FAQ. It may make sense to eliminate it if we are going to end up
with even a temporary sister group for movie discussions. BTW, thanks
for remembering to check on that poll. I'm glad that you asked people
to vote as it was running neck & neck as they say. I'm disappointed to
just now notice that voting has pulled away in favor of leaving
discussions on the main list. <g> Although, isn't there a plurality
that favor moving it and the difference being whether it's a temporary
or permanent move? [Gee, can you tell how I voted?]

Mike not only offered, he's finished it. It's uploaded already.
TO REVISIT AN OLD TOPIC: you remember that we discussed the possibility
of making the FAQs into a book, with proceeds going to charity? I can't
for the life of me think why anyone would want to *buy* it in printed
form when all they'd need to do is go to the FAQ website. BUT, it does
gall me to see the spate of books that now seem to be coming on the
market, and our information is SO much better & more complete. I just
read David Colbert's "The Magical Worlds of Harry Potter." While it is
tons better than the Schaefer book, it's not nearly so good as our
information. For example, he seems to be confused about the Goblet of
Fire -- he thinks it's the same thing as the Triwizard Cup. [It's *not*
is it? <g> Now, I'm doubting myself since it's reasonably late here &
I don't have my copy handy]. Anyway .... any thoughts on this old
topic? Amazing the number of things that you can dream up while
spending literally hours of every day nursing & rocking a baby ...
