When I set up the Yahoo! archive site (http://members.nbci.com/hpfg)
the provider gave me the code to insert. The counter is at the
bottom of the page--I picked the least obtrusive version of the three
they offered. The provide I used was http://www.thecounter.com
Who knows why I picked them. (Probably because it is sponsored by a
trade magazine I read.) But they do offer a no-ad version, and
statistics on: browser, resolution, color depth, time of access,
country domains, etc. They also offer to e-mail a weekly statistic
report.
If you're interested in a sample, go ahead an log into the account I
made for the Yahoo! index. All the personal information I provided
them was invalid. You'd want to set up your own anyway.

The counter may be changing their presentation. I see they are
plugging a "premium" version that offers a non-visible counter. My
account already has this option. No doubt not for long.
