I can't simply rename my revised document because our network insists on identifying it by its number. I could resave it using a new name but it's very hard to delete documents from the network, so I'd rather continue to use the existing document Can someone help me out? Thanks. I just came across a post that was off-topic but that discussed a bit of list history (in this case, why we do acronyms). It's silly, I know, but I just figured this sort of thing might be helpful to be able to find someday. It would certainly have been helpful for the History FP. So I added a new topic term "List" for posts dealing with list policy or list history. Let me know if there is a better way to approach that sort of thing. And don't feel obligated to use it just because it is there -- I think it should only be used for OT list policy posts that really are helpful and different. Just an FYI to you and Paul; the FPs are already on the FA server. The site is completely functional over there -- no internal links need to be changed. The only linking changes would be to the HBfile, the PWEs, the front page of the hpfgu.org.uk main page and admin files like that that link *to* it. Hopefully Steve can put a redirect on his page for people trying to find it over there. I still have to FTP over the latest changes to hypotheticalley.html to the FA site, but I can probably do that today; I just didn't get around to it yet. In general, the advantage (for me, at least) of moving to FA's server is that Dicey and I can update it more easily, without having to ask Steve to do anything for us. So that lets us skip a step in doing updates. Plus, the URL is shorter. :-) ~Porphyria [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] From heidit at netbox.com Thu Dec 12 18:31:15 2002 From: heidit at netbox.com (heiditandy ) Date: Thu, 12 Dec 2002 18:31:15 -0000 Subject: Moving to the FA Server In-Reply-To: Message-ID: --- In HP4GU-FAQ at yahoogroups.com, "Cindy C.
