1. Click the numbered square at the beginning of the row you want to black
out. It should select the whole row.
2. Do one of the following (a or b):
a. From the main menu, select Format => Cells... The Format Cells dialog
box appears. Select the "Patterns" tab. Select the desired color and click OK.
b. Locate the icon that looks like a bucket of paint with a colored line
below it. (It should be on the left side or along the top somewhere.) Click
the little "down" arrow on its right. Select the desired color.
If you use option b, the line below the bucket icon will turn the color you
selected. Now, all you have to do is select the row and click directly on
the bucket to fill in the row.
If you color in a line and want to un-color it, go back to the color menu
and select "no fill" instead of a color.
