No, there is no chance that the FPs will be discontinued. They are 
very popular and much admired by listmembers. We would love you to 
produce some FAQ's that are updated to OOP status - we're perfectly 
aware that you may be some time doing that. 

We have no problem with Cindy continuing as FAQ group leader. As I 
said in a previous post, we also have no problem with you deciding 
yourselves how you want this list to run. On the whole, I personally 
see FAQ as a semi-autonomous task force, free to decide for itself 
how and by whom its work is organised.

Canon changes between OOP and GOF, for example, might be a good 
thing to include. That doesn't need the main list. A summary of 
the 'new things we learnt in OOP' might be a handy paragraph or two 
for the FP.
