I like the idea of offering two methods of nominating posts. I think
the database will make our lives easier in the long run. And those
who can't navigate the database would still have the option of
sending an e-mail.
I don't see the problem with having members reading the database -
when we put together the FPs, it's clear which posts have been
deemed "fantastic," so if someone is going to feel insulted, the
information on which to feel slighted is already public. As for
providing instructions, I think Debbie's idea of providing a couple
of examples would help, and if this isn't sufficient, we could always
direct people to a document in the files section which provides
instructions.
