Don't worry, Ali, that happens to me all the time. What are you working in? 
As I expect you know by now, I'm in Works and it just seems that it takes 
ever such a long time for the stuff to be properly saved to disk. At least, 
that's how *I* with zero technical knowledge explain it!

I find that if I wait long enough (viz overnight, sometimes a little longer) 
then it uploads fine. But if I so much as *touch* it before trying to upload, 
then it won't co-operate.

Sometimes it can be beneficial to have a copy of the file, so that if you 
know you want to upload what you've done and so can't touch it for a bit, you 
can work on the copy and then, next time, upload *that* one.

Funnily, yesterday, even though I'd waited overnight, my file wouldn't upload 
and so out of curiosity, I tried to upload the copy - which worked! 

<shrug>

Computers, eh?
