If it makes you feel any better, I get 5-10 of these a day. I also get at
least 50 spam and another 20-30 virus-laden emails every day. That's on top
of the endless "I found an error in your website" or "I have this great
theory about Ron" or "Hey, did you notice that there's this gleam in
Dumbledore's eye?" emails I get. It's astounding how many people's address
books I'm in...

Subject: [HP4GU-FAQ] I'm . . . I'm a *Spammer!*
Hey,
I've been out of town on holiday, so I haven't caught up.
I did notice, however, that my computer seems to have been hijacked.
I read that some spammers have been able to hack into some folks'
computers and use them to send spam. In flipping quickly through my
e-mail, I found a bounced message to a stranger -- sending them spam
about refinancing their mortgage! Yikes!
Man, this sucks. Not only did they use my business e-mail, but Yahoo
will cut me off it it starts thinking I'm a spammer. Oh, dear.
If any of you receive spam from me, would you let me know?
Cindy
