The number of times I postulated that the coward was Snape on the main
list and got shot down! (Going back a couple of years now, this is - I
may have had more support more recently).
I think it would be a good twist as well - and I've never forgotten that
BCJ says that Karkaroff will be tracked down and dealt with and that he
had betrayed too many of his fellow Death Eaters to be welcomed back
into the fold. Neither of them make reference to any betrayal on
Snape's part, and I always wondered whether BCJ's real animosity towards
Snape was because he was another of the DEs which went free.
Uh oh, just realised I'm making an on topic post on the wrong list!
Never mind.
