I just wanted to register my objections to scrubbing the archives. I 
fear that in deleting any mention of any possible faq-list-member runs 
the risk of losing archival material that is part of this group's (to 
quote alan rickman's excellent film Galaxy quest) "historical 
documents."

I'm just not sure it's necessary.
