I'm hoping that we won't have to maintain more than 1-3 each. I'm
hoping that other members of the group will express an interest in maintaining
(updating) 1 FAQ each. We've got about 55 or so FAQs at this point
-- if we could get 25 members who were all willing to update 1 or 2 of
them, that would be helpful. Of course, this may be unrealistic,
so we may end up maintaining more than 1-3 apiece.
<p>I'm glad to see that some of the volunteers are wanting to write up
some of the FAQs. But, please don't feel that you have to.
I envisioned getting 20 or more volunteers to comb through groups of messages,
and we have about 20 volunteers I think. I then envisioned that the
FAQs Committee (me, Melanie, Heidi, Neil & Simon) would write the FAQs
based on the efforts of the group of 20. But, I am more than willing
(thrilled!!!) for some of you to join our Committee and help with writing
some of the FAQs. It will get accomplished so much more quickly that
way. Carole -- I'll even give up the Sirius FAQ if you want to write it.
<g> But, as a volunteer, you needn't feel obligated to volunteer
to write any of the FAQs. If all you want to do is comb through a
group of 350 messages & that's it, that's completely fine too.
