Paul --

You're awesome!! Thanks -- it worked finally. Thanks for
being so patient. I do think instructions at the message archives
site would be a good thing -- for those of us who are technical dunces.

It sounds like you got the file okay. So I'll start
there.

The file that your computer prompted you to save to
the hard drive is a runnable application. To get the
messages it must be executed (though not killed).
You'll need to do the following for each file:

1. Locate the downloaded file (which may be on your
desktop) and double click its icon. This should cause
a dialog box titled "WinZip Self-Extractor" to appear.
It will be asking you to choose a folder.

2. Click the "Browse" button and select the desktop
for the file's final destination. Select "OK" to
close the Browse window.

3. Click the UnZip button. Shortly, a message box
should appear that says "1 file unzipped
successfully."

4. At this point, a new file has been created at the
destination you selected in (2). This new file is a
regular .txt file that can be opened in Notepad, Word,
etc.

I'll try to make time tonight to include instructions
(with pictures) on the Archive site.

Trust me. All this complication in the beginning will
be worth it. Its far more frustrating to have a
corrupted file and not realize it.
