Well, I think what I would envision (not that my vision should be the end

goal necessarily) would be a basic character sketch (sort of along the

lines of what people have been doing so far for the weekly discussions,

drawing from all 4 books). I guess I would include basic, indisputable

factual info in the first paragraph or two (or more). Then, I'd start

analyzing some of the more controversial aspects of their personality,

their role in the books so far, what's predicted to happen to them, that

sort of thing. This latter aspect will take quite alot for complex

characters such as Snape. Lupin might be easier since he's not mentioned

at all in the first 2 books and only briefly in GoF. For Dumbledore,

obviously you'll get the fun of devoting a paragraph or more to the different

theories of what that "gleam in his eye" might mean.

<p>I'm open to thoughts about whether or not to include specific message

numbers. Actually, now that I think about it, we could include message

#s at the bottom of each FAQ. Something along the lines of: "For

more in-depth information, you might want to look at Yahoo messages _______

(available at HPforGrownups-Archives) and egroups messages ________.").

????? Thoughts??

You'll have a great time Margaret! Where within the UK (or the British

Isles I should say) are you going? We were in London, Cheddar (Somerset),

Edinburgh & Arisaig (w coast of Scotland).
