Harry Potter and the Psychic Serpent summary:

Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts.   Harry gets a snake who has the 
Sight (non-Parselmouths don't know this, of course, so now Harry 
seems to have the Sight as far as others can tell).  Hermione is torn 
between Ron and Harry, who's torn between her and Ginny, who
is torn between him and Draco Malfoy, who is torn between Ginny and 
loyalty to his father.  Plus: a Prophecy involving Harry, Draco 
Malfoy and a mystery woman; Lucius Malfoy wants to recruit Harry and 
Draco to be Death Eaters (and maybe Percy); Giants come to Hogwarts; 
Harry trains to be an Animagus; and we find out why Snape hated
James Potter.  Ends with Harry feeling guilty about someone's death 
again.   (Actually a little depressing...but stay tuned for my Year 
Six: Harry Potter and the Time of Good Intentions, to be followed by 
Year Seven: Harry Potter and the Triangle Prophecy).
