Greetings from a Lurker and fellow Potter fan!

On July 26, 2003 at 6am PDT, bloggers and web journalers across the
globe will take part in Blogathon 2003 (http://www.blogathon.org).
For 24 hours they will post an update to our site at least once every
30 minutes. For this, they collect sponsorships. Sponsors may either
pledge a flat rate for completion of the full 24 hours, or an hourly
pledge for each hour the site is updated.

A small group of us have entered our site, #12 Grimauldi Place
(http://12grimauldi.esoteric-renaissance.com), as a participant in
this event. For 24 hours we will submerge ourselves in the world of
Harry Potter with a "Happy Harry Potter Party".

Our sponsor donations will go to benefit Comic Relief
(http://www.comicrelief.org.uk/), the organization J.K. Rowling
wrote "Quidditch Through the Ages" and "Fantastic Beasts and Where to
Find Them" to benefit.

Visitors to the site on July 26, will be able to join us in this
party as we post party updates, discuss the books, share recipes as
we taste test them, etc. A chat room will be set up for visitors to
join us live as the day progresses. A raffle and gifts to sponsors
are currently in the works, more details to come. reader suggestions
for book discussion topics also greatly appreciated! :-)

Please consider joining us on this day and sponsoring us for this
endeavor. At the end of the event, we will let our sponsors know how
they can donate, and they will send funds directly to Comic Relief.
Neither myself nor the organizers of the Blogathon will collect any
funds directly. A sponsorship link may be found at #12 Grimauldi
Place, or by clicking "Particpant List" at the Blogathon website and
choosing "#12 Grimauldi Place"

Thanks!
