HP Fan Trips announces chaperone availability

A couple of updates concerning the June 1-7, 2004 HP Fan Trip:

Many under-18 individuals have contacted us asking about going on the tour
unaccompanied by their own parent or guardian, so we've listened and hired a
few chaperones!  Space is limited, but adding more chaperones is certainly
not out of the question should there be higher-than-anticipated demand. More

We've created a LiveJournal community for people interested or decidedly
participating in the June 2004 trip with Chris Rankin.  It's a place to
discuss the tour with other fans, find a roommate or travel buddy and more:

HP Fan Trips was recently covered briefly in a New York Times special on
travel and tourism based on popular movies.  We've gotten word that the

On a semi-related note, Chris Rankin will be doing an interview with HPANA
in February (in which he'll likely discuss his participation with HP Fan
