HP songvids (PS/SS, COS, and POA video spoilers)

For those into songvids, I've updated my blog's sidebar links at 
http://archive.nu/bunniblog/ to include the latest HP:POA vid.  Vid details 
are further down.

Right click on file and 'save as' to prevent streaming.

These files use Real media. Personally, I use Player 8. If you don't have 
Real Player installed: http://forms.real.com/real/player/blackjack.html

For the .zip files, you'll need to use a program like Winzip 
(www.winzip.com) first before you can access the Real media files.


Title: Mad World
Song: Mad World by Gary Jules
Characters: predominantly Harry with some MWPP references

Dated: June 2004
Notes: I was using an 'unofficial' release as a placeholder until I could 
buy the DVD. After reading some article about Daniel Radcliffe watching 
Donnie Darko and then the movie recently playing in the background, I 
evaluated the song, Mad World. For those who haven't seen Donnie Darko, it 
taps into the concept of time travel. Some ironic parallels.  The vid will 
remain in draft form until the DVD comes out.

Characters: Harry and Draco

Dated: March 2004
Notes: Various entertainment shows were playing this song because of 
American Idol. So, like William Hung, if you can't do it well, have fun 
parodying your 'art'.  Can be perceived as a slash parody.

Characters: predominantly Harry with some Dursleys and Severus

Dated: October 2003
Notes: Order of the Phoenix impacted the tone of this vid. It can be 
perceived as either gen or slash.

Song: Not A Virgin Anymore by Poe
Characters: predominantly Draco with some Harry references

Dated: October 2003
Notes: Based on the date, I'm estimating this was inspired by Tom Felton's 
sixteenth birthday (legal in the UK). Plus, I had the song clip handy from 
a previous vid. It amused me because he was young in the stills. References 
to Harry/Draco.


Title: Waiting
Song: Waiting by the Devlins
Characters: predominantly Harry

Dated: October 2003
Notes: Theme was 'waiting for... (acceptance)'. Inspired by HBO's promo for 
their series/movies using Waiting and showing it right after airing HP:SS. 
Vid is deliberately half B&W and half color.


Title: Requiem For A Dream
Song: Requiem For A Dream (orchestral) by Clint Mansell

Notes: Using the title, the theme had been 'awakening'. The vid can be 
perceived as either a gen or slash vid. I definitely would like to revise 
Requiem For A Dream.
