Writing Contest, no entry fees, open to all good writers who love Harry Potter Fan Fiction
www.ProjectFerret.org is a collaborative Harry Potter fan fiction site which was founded by several writers who met through writing Harry Potter fan fiction elsewhere. Most of our writers are college age to past fifty; this is not a kid's Harry Potter site, though we only accept writing that is "G" to "PG" rated. Our writing standards are high for submissions, so we ask that people register and show us their writing ability before they are allowed access to the whole site.
We would like to announce our One Year Anniversary Contest, which will be held this November. This contest is open to all Harry Potter fans who are conscientious about their spelling, grammar, syntax and are good story-tellers.
The first fifty to post a submission in the Contest will receive a paperback copy of Quidditch Through the Ages. We will also be awarding several copies of the Prisoner of Azkaban movie once it is released. Other prizes include quality, officially licensed copies of the wands used in that movie, official HP 2005 calendars, Amazon Certificates, and much much more.
The Floo-Between Contest begins October 31st and ends during the first week of December.
For your convenience, we have already drawn up this blurb (feel free to edit or whatever you need):
