Calling all Writers and Artists:
For any writers and artists out there, E7 is accepting submissions
for the PremiereFest fan fiction storytelling sessions and the E7 Art
Gallery. If you have a knack for writing Harry Potter fan fiction or
if you've always wanted to take a stab at creating your own scenes,
we are looking for one-scene pieces to be read aloud in 5-15-minute
sessions, representing a diverse group of genres and characters from
the series. You may submit up to three different pieces for
consideration to us at staff at ... by June 1, and be
sure to include a title and genre (action/adventure, romance, comedy,
drama, etc.), along with your name, email address and age. E7 will
also feature a gallery to display artwork inspired by the HP series
or other magical realms. Feel free to portray themes, depict
emotions, represent personal/ public struggles, reflect social
statements, interpret your favorite character or any other artistic
outlet you choose! If you already have some artwork completed or are
planning to create, please contact Diane Bittman at
Diane at .... Since PremiereFest is designed for fans
of all ages, we ask that the content of the submissions be
appropriate for everyone (G or PG rating please!!).
And there are still a few spaces left for the full Enlightening 2007
family camp for those of you looking for a place to celebrate and
discuss the film release of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
and the much anticipated release of Harry Potter and the Deathly
Hallows. E7 will take place July 12-15, 2007 in the gothic buildings
of the University of Pennsylvania campus in Philadelphia. The
programming includes "magic" classes, art workshops, and literary
presentations and discussions, with authors George Beahm and John
Granger and artist Tim Kirk among our Special Guest teachers. For
more information and to register online, visit the E7 Web site
(http://Enlightening2007.org).
