Paul definitely can't host the database - he not only doesn't want 
to, but it would contravene his ISP's T&C. Also, it will need a 
server capable of handling at least the traffic of the main list.

I raised the issue of how the catalogue is eventually to be hosted in 
the MEG paper, but I am not aware of this issue being discussed as 
yet. One idea put forward was that to fund the server, the resource 
should be a paid-for service. Another was to solicit contributions 
from members to pay for it.
