Carolyn removes her ear from the door with a satisfied smile. The new

Abruptly coming out of her reverie, Carolyn barked over the tannoy:

SERVER FIXED! CATALOGUE BACK UP! 

There was a sound of scurrying feet, and the sound of hesitant 
tapping again filled the air, interspersed with tuts of irritation 
and intermittent groaning.
