Sorry, I was raised in Norweigan territory.  We had Knutsons every place you looked.  Went to school with Jodie Knutson, church with Sandy Knutson, babysat Chad Knutson, worked with a different Jodi Knutson (no relation to Jodie), lived next door to the Ken Knutsons... you get the idea.  I just can't pronounce knuts without the K at the beginning.  K'noots, to put it somewhat phoneticly.  

But then, I pronounced Hermione like Hermy-own until book 4 because I have only known one Hermione in my life and that's how she said it.  Come to think of it, she pronounced her last name wrong too.  Her husband and his family pronounced Holm as "home" with a slight added L, but Hermione pronounced it Hollum.  She always was an odd duck, maysherestinpeace.  Wrote the personal column of the local paper and couldn't get it right to save her life.  Fortunately, it was a small town, so everyone knew the correct version before the paper hit the doorstep.

YAY!  Happy Birthday to Anne and Debbie.   May you both have good ones.  I'll add some watermelon to the party.  

PERCY/ SNAPE/ MALFOYS

I haven't been playing with Percy, but I will be playing with Snape and the Malfoy parents.  I'm doing Draco now, and there are some (not many) Snape/Draco posts that are highly repetitive and have been coded to both so I am removing them. I also have a few posts that are about the Malfoy family and will be moving them there.

Speaking of Draco, I am over 2/3 done reading and expect to read the last 300 posts tonight.  It's been a surprisingly good category.  I found one that had me in tears, even though it wasn't much about Draco, I kept it there.  It was written 4 days after Sept. 11 (2001) and it would be very appropriate for the list today.  It's 26139, if anyone is interested.
