A year after the Pentagon was attacked, there was a pair of snipers riding around the Metropolitan DC area randomly killing people. All the news stations took great pleasure in reporting about the fear people were feeling. That drove me crazy because we were carrying on, going about our daily lives...keeping a wary eye out, but going on. Talking about fear did nothing at all but give the snipers something to gloat about.
And while you're celebrating the end of WWII, I'm reading about the small boats of Dunkirk. Very timely.
