A very, very cross Ms H. stomps in, slams all computer equipment on
desk and asks for the Penguin, pdq.

Now, you're a techie I'm led to believe...and appear to have had
groups connection problems. Please can you help, as I am in DESPAIR.

I am getting in here using my office laptop, which is ok, but I want
to use my home PC, where I usually work. BUT, I can only get normal
access to one HP group - TOC. All the rest, I get a tasteful pale
blue screen with a white box in the middle. I have completely re-
loaded all my browser software (AOL), and have no problem getting
into any other (non-Yahoo) website. I used another screen name and
did manage to read the posts here last night, but couldn't answer
any, then got the little white box back.

What is going on? If I right click on the white box, I get into
Flash, and I have looked at all the settings on that, and cleared
anything that looks as though it might prevent access, but no joy.

AND, (starts to splutter, gets on soapbox, starts loading gun in a
frightening sort of way), I have lost my access to ALL my AOL emails
stored on my hard drive. They are all still there, 103MB of them,
but no one can restore their link to my browser, so I can't
read 'em. However, that's only happened on one screen name, the
emails relating to other screen names are all still there.

I am just going to kill someone. Not you lot, obviously, as you are
all Very Nice (luckily), but someone has to die for this........

Exeunt, stage left.

Nasty silence ensues.
