A bit late in responding (the change to daylight savings time has
not been kind to me), but here are some thoughts. Some of these are
really difficult to place, as you'll see, but I took a stab at it.
Maybe we could solve the problem by merging the plot device and
literary construct categories together? No? Just a thought.
