Searching and Archive List Questions

Thanks for the information about the archived messages,Dave.

That makes me wonder, if the messages are archived why are they 
still on the main list? I think Amelia was asking (correct me if I'm 
wrong): Will it help speed up the search process to remove a portion 
of the messages from the main list?
