I think that the overall snipping does get sloppy sometimes.  often I will
not read a post that has so many quotes to wade through that it seems
impossible to find the point the person is trying to make.  I remember how
nervous I was with my first few posts to the group, worried about how well I
would snip and all that.  I still worry about it, and it is one of the
reasons I post rarely.  I think a reminder of the current posting guidelines
would be beneficial for all.
