As I recall, there was discussion on MEG, and that was the time 
period we came up with, within which at least three or four of us 
across various time zones agreed we could have read the book and 
would be available to service the list. It wasn't an arbitrary 
selection. The optimal time may vary this time, based on elf 
availability and time of access to the book after release.
