I've started a group for early squeeing and/or mourning.  It goes by
the suitably gruesome title of I Solemnly Swear on the Bones of my
Father.  It will be active only for the seven days after the release
of DH, no matter when the HPfGU list re-opens.

Cool, now I don't have to set one up.  I was going to do basically the same
thing,
short term, just to have a place to talk for the interim. I don't do "CHAT"
so I
wouldn't have even tried to converse that way.  I'm too old, can't keep up
with the
constant motion in a chat room. Also can't keep up with more than one or two
conver-
sations at a time.  Just my age showing through.
