What to see?

No Yael don't listen to all these, these- natives! If you are
visiting England you must do touristy things...(i.e. make a fool of
yourself) Anyway....

1)Feed the pigeons in Trafalgar Square!
I think that they may have stopped this (maybe I saw it on the news?)
but you really must if you can. Allow them to land on your head and
arms...fun fun fun! (And while you're at it it's very fun to do Brass
Rubbings in the crypt of St. Martin's in the Fields right across the
street.)

2)Visit every church in town!
Neil has assured us that many/most Christians in England are sort of
apathetic. (Unless I was mistaken and he didn't say this at all
in which case I digress...) Seriously though the churches are nice
but we saw so many, and well by the twenty or thirtieth one they all
seem the same. (Pick either Westminster Abbey or St. Paul's.)

3)Make a call from those infamous red phone booths!
Ok you've GOT to do this, and even if you don't at least have your
picture taken in one (I did).

4)Ride the good ol' public tranportation!
Yes I'm talking about the tube (mind the gap!) but also those red
public double decker buses.

WARNING FOR BUSES:
If all the young people in a group want to get to the top and get on
before the adults and then go on to leave them all behind, and are
standing up not really sure what to do and one girl says "Scott sit
down, you're too clumsy don't stand!" and you respond "No YOU can
sit." to which they give you an admonishing look; the bus flies to a
halt and you (read: me, I, yes *I* did this) fell forward and landed
in a strange British man's lap- well be careful!!

(I know that was a run-on sentence!)

*very embarassed look*

I don't suppose that was you Neil?

There are really many wonderful things to do in London. Try the
museums if you don't have kids that are to young to concentrate. It's
a beautiful city. Have fun.
