Well, back in Israel.

I'm so sorry to have missed you all, but the beautiful things we saw instead *almost* make up for it. I hope I'll have a chance to be back in Britain some time soon, and maybe be able to attend another gathering. Chances are slim, though. If any one of you thinks about coming over to Israel... Give me a call.

  We made it back to the States with no trouble, save that we all wanted

  Somewhere in the horror that was my e-mail inbox after 2+ weeks of 
  neglect I spotted messages from the group members who met us in 
  Greenwich the last Saturday in May. What a lovely group of people. 
  Mike, Noah, and especially I had a wonderful time meeting you. It was 
  difficult, though, because I wanted to chat about all things Potter 
  but am too much the eager tourist that I didn't want to miss the 
  sights. A bit of advice to Ebony and Scott and any others who are 
  visiting this summer -- plan much more time than you might currently 
  expect to spend with our UK friends. You'll be glad for the 
  opportunity.

  Thanks to Neil, Catherine, Michelle, and Alex for a terrific 
  afternoon. Hope we can do it again in the not-too-distant future.
