Hi, 
Have just become a member - I live in NW London so was wondering if 
there are any members from around here. 
I admittedly started reading HP out of curiosity. In all the years I 
worked in book publishing (=6) I'd never come across a phenomenon 
like this (i.e. a children's book being devoured by adults) and 
wanted to know what the fuss was about. Of course I ended up 
completely hooked and now can't wait to read book 5. 
I'm still curious why it is that adults are so taken by HP. In my 
case I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that I'm 
exactly the same age as JKR so have grown up in the same period. If 
you have any theories on that, please share!
