No England this summer, but...

Hello to all my friends "across the pond":

Update, because I realize I never posted about it--I will not be 
attending the NEH seminar in London this summer.  *cries*

I will, however, be in Madrid for a conference in July.  
Unfortunately, my travel is being paid for and I am not allowed to 
make any changes to the flight reservations.  So I will not have the 
chance to see England at all in 2002.  *weeps*

A ray of hope remains, however--in late winter 2003 my students and I 
will embark upon the British Isles and the Continent for an exchange 
trip.  But alas, since I will be chaperoning, I will most likely not 
be allowed to *drink* as my students will be 15/16 and definitely not 
allowed... scary to contemplate.

So I think the next time I'll be in England on my own and able to 
meet with HP fans is during the 2003-2004 school year.
