Richard said (after Ben's proposal to move to the IMAX cafe if it
rains):

<<< As I recall, the IMAX cafeteria is boring, characterless and has
a crap selection (and it was unlicensed the last time I visited,
although according to the web site, this has changed). >>>

Firstly, thanks to Ben for thinking about wet weather options. Let's
face it, a freak tornado isn't out of the question with the recent
weather we've had.

I don't know the IMAX cafe at all, so I can't add anything to
Richard's glowing review.

The NFT cafe was renamed The Film Cafe after a refurbishment in
recent years, but still combines cafe and bar elements. It's been
described as looking like a German motorway service station, probably
because of its extensive use of aluminium. Outside, it has long
benches and there is a regular book fair under a nearby bridge (which
I thought might be interesting to browse).

In other words, the cafe itself is nothing to write home about; but
it is a popular meeting place for groups. I'd originally thought we
might move on somewhere else, but the IMAX idea caught on... and the
rest you know.

Anyway, I agree with Richard - I think we should just relocate
indoors if it rains.

Neil
