Having seen Daniel in 'David Copperfield' I was especially impressed
at how low-key he played Harry in comparison. In the BBC Interview he
says Harry is slower to react than Ron and Hermione to everything
because it is all new to him. Ron grew up in the wizard world and
Hermione knows more than Ron.

I've been trying to think which scene in 'David Copperfield' caught
Columbus' eye the most. The one that moved me most was when Bob
Hoskins and family say goodbye when leaving London and David (Daniel)
is lovingly saying goodbye to them while in the throes of being
abandoned. I can't watch that scene without a box of kleenex at hand.
Reminds me a lot of how he did the Mirror of Erised (desirE). Don't
get me started.

> tears to my eyes because of him.
