Well, the original Star Wars trilogy was filmed and released during a
period of more than 6 years. And the sequels are also taking that
long (Episode 1 came out in 1999, Episode 2 is coming out in 2002,
and Episode 3 will only be released in 2005).
I know they had 3 years in-between to do the actual filming and pre-
and pos-production, but the actors had to commit themselves to
something that would expand into a rather large period of time.
And even with all the success that Harrison Ford had during the
original trilogy and with the Indiana Jones' movies, he worked in all
the movies. Sure, they had to pay him more to do the other 2 movies,
but he did them. Why shouldn't Daniel, Rupert and Emma do the next HP
movies?

I was wondering the same thing...but if books 6 is published in 2004
and book 7 in 2006 (therefore with intervals of 2 years between the
books) that won't be a problem. Well, at least I hope so. =)
