That was me.  :)  At present, there is an extremely popular petition at
the Petition Site, asking Chris Columbus and Warner Bros. to release a
director's cut DVD when they do eventually release a DVD at all.  If
you'd like to sign it, go to http://www.thepetitionsite.com and look for
the link to the Harry Potter petition.
