This is not so much a Speilburg/Columbus post, as one to address the phot
realism issue. The two directors made their choices and they and we will just
have to live with it. Speilburg may now or later regret his choice, but we'll
never know, truly, how important a decision it was personally and what
unknown personal resons he may not have chosen to share.
I am looking forward to the movie. I am looking forward to the discussions of
it. What does concern me is that we all most assuredly have our own ideas of
what everything should be like at Hogwarts, and with the characters. I've
already heard from one person and know another, a theater manager who have
seen the movie. Without going into detail, their opinions were like night and
day.
Why am I writing this? I guess to express the hope that we can all share
ideas, and do the usual "pick it apart" without stepping on anyone's
pleasure..I've purposedly avoided the person who had the negative opinion
already.

I know John has already stepped in with official reminders, so this is really
notall that pertinent. But persoanally , as corny as it sounds, I do want to
"live the magic" a bit!
