First of all, I want to thank everyone who responded to my "new to HP movies" post. All of your opinions were welcome, which helps in putting everything I am seeing (the "Sorcerer's Stone" movie) and reading (the first two books) in perspective.

I finished reading CoS tonight, and will start PoA when I go to bed in a few minutes. I hadn't realized how emotional invested I was getting in this until I found myself saying out loud "all riiiiight" at certain points in the last 50 pages. (Yep -- the HP series has taken me in *completely*, <grin>.) So, I am more eager than ever to see the movie when it comes out on DVD/VHS next month . . . and to see if the movie has the same effect on me that the book did. Does anyone know what I mean?

As long as JKR can stay *directly* involved in the making of the movies (to keep things loyal to the books), and Daniel continue to portray "Harry" in all of them, I am totally in favor of every HP book being turned into a movie. I would hope that all the other actors/actresses of the main characters will also keep doing their roles.

Oh, there's one thing I forgot to mention about "SS" -- I was *so pleased* that John Williams had done the score, as I am a *long-time* fan of his work (going back even before Star Wars), and I think he did a good job of helping the feel of what we love about the HP series come alive in "SS". Did he also do the score for CoS? And will he do the PoA one? I sure *hope* so.

Judy
