Daniels name removed from YAA awards?

I read on another news group that his father was concerned about the 
paedophile interest in this particular award ceremony, and hence 
didn't want his son to get any unwelcome attention.

I thought that was really sad. They're only kids, but all the 
adulation and interest in their lives must be very hard to deal with. 
Then if you get sick interest on top of that... I only hope that 
Daniel and the others will still be able to experience relatively 
normal childhoods/adolescence.
