In the first movie, the one thing that bothered me
about quidditch was that Madam hooch was nowhere to be
found.  Gryffindor kept getting fouled by slytherin
and there were no penalties.  The only thing that
Wanamaker did in that scene, at least in the final
cut, was release the balls and say, "Now I want a nice
fair game, all of you."  or something on that order. 
Wouldn't be too hard to trim that little bit of
refereeing down to nothing.
