[HPFGU-Movie] Sorting Hat and Ron

Plus, perhaps all the Weasley's have just happened to display the characteristics of Gryffindors and been best suited for that...

  I think it was just meant to be a funny line.  I'm sure that the hat looked inside him, saw at a glance he was Gryffindor and said what it said as it matched with the rest of the family.  Of course, it could also be a throw away line just to get through his sorting and get on with the story.  But remember all of the Weasleys were Gryffindor.  If the hat saw at a glance that Ron was such that line would not have been prejudicial but just the hat commenting on the fact Ron is a Weasley and he belongs in Gryffindor.

  "Another Weasley eh?  I know what to do with you, Gryffindor."  

  If you separate those into two separate thoughts, instead of one, you see what I mean.  Commenting on family and then on house.
