As a huge fan of the movie and Baz Lurhmann's two major works so 
far, Moulin Rouge and William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, I can 
tell you that is the version. It is available under the latter title 
mentioned, on vhs, DVD, and DVD Special Edition. There are quite a 
few features under the Special edition DVD, including but not 
limited to commentaries, behind-the-scenes excerpts, cast 
interviews, etc. The stars in the Lead roles were Leonardo DiCaprio 
and Claire Danes, with quite a few other stars in different roles. 
For those of you who don't recognize this version by the director, 
it made a bozz back in 1997 because Luhrmann made the film with all 
lines written as Shakespeare penned them, however, he changed the 
setting around to a modern setting in a slummed-out "Verona Beach." 
for an example, in one of the first scenes, the Capulets and 
Montagues get into a fight in a gas station in cars, and when one of 
them "draws swords", they draw a pistol, and the camera goes closeup 
on the side, where it says clearly, "Sword, 9mm". It is an excellent 
watch for any fans of Romeo and Juliet, in my opinion.
